Christmas is on its way and we've even had a few frosty mornings. The Re-B team continues to work on a rich menu of interesting seasonal initiatives...

  • 4Bs Biodiversity park - what is it and how can you get involved? Take a look at the 4Bs Biodiversity dedicated website for more information. In the meantime, Re-B trustee, Norman Jackson, is planning to run a number of Biodiversity talks and workshops in the coming months. Find out more here.
  • Our mid-winter Wassail was a resounding success, with wassailers coming from far and wide. So we've already set the date for next year - Saturday 11th January 2025, 4-6pm - save the date! And we're planning a bit of extra fun for the next one, starting with a competition for the best Wassail hat.
  • We’ll continue our series of hands-on, practical workshops. If you’re looking for an activity to occupy a young person between Christmas and their return to school, look no further. Book them into the Build your own Nest Box session at Potter’s Farm woodwork ‘shop’ on Thursday 2 January 2025. Adults welcome too! to book and find out more email: jb@pottersfarm.net.
  • Encouraged by the interest in fungi, we’re looking to start a seasonal series of guided foraging walks.  Maybe we finish each with a plant-based cooking evening too?

We’ll also continue our series of Zoom talks, bringing in experts to share their knowledge on-line.

You’ll hear more in future newsletters plus the occasional email alert from us. And if one or other of the above particularly floats your boat, let us know here. All feedback and ideas welcome!
