Free home energy surveys are back

 

 

Most Betchworth households are now eligible for a free home energy survey, no strings attached, thanks to funding secured by a Surrey CC led consortium.

How does it work? Home Energy Advice Taskforce (HEAT) champions visit your property, conduct thermal imaging surveys, and provide tailored advice to ensure your home is both comfortable and healthy, while helping to cut your bills and reduce carbon emissions. 
 
Surveys are targeted at those who will benefit most, either financially or in terms of carbon reduction. As nearly two thirds of Surrey homes are EPC-D rated or below, or have no EPC at all, it’s pretty likely you’ll be eligible.
 
Five HEAT Champions are working under the umbrella of Circular Dorking; other consortium members include Reigate and Redhill, Elmbridge, Waverley and Spelthorne, all led by Zero Guildford.
