Build your own bird box workshop– 2 January 2025

If you’re looking for an activity to occupy a young person between Christmas and their return to school, look no further. Book them into the Potter’s Farm woodwork ‘shop’ on Thursday 2 January. Adults welcome too!

You will be guided in building your own bird box under close supervision. Adults welcome too!
By varying the hole size, you can choose which bird species you want to attract and will leave with a completed box, ready for painting or other personalisation. All this well before the nesting season starts and in plenty of time to hang in the right bird-friendly spot, under the eaves of your house or high on a wall, well away from curious cats or foxes. Get information and advice about the best places to site your birdbox, how to attract a range of wild birds and many other questions at the workshop too.
